This was one of my first pieces on a full sheet of paper.  This image from my brother’s barn in southern Minnesota is particularly striking, with the vines growing into the barn, attracted by nutrients, while then dying from loss of light.  The many wood toned surfaces and textures were achieved through multiple glazes.  The chicken wire was negatively painted one hexagon at a time.
